Description

You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 50'S ROCK 'N'ROLL / SKIFFLE 10 INCH album by DON LANG AND HIS SKIFFLE GROUP called SKIFFLE SPECIAL issued on the HIS MASTERS VOICE record label in the UK in 1957, cat number DLP 1151(MONO). Side 1; WHISKEY, NEW YORK GALS, FIGHTIN' MEN, THE CATTLE TRAIN, THIS TRAIN, BY AND BY. Side 2; A RAG A BONE AND A LOCK OF HAIR, ROLLTHE COTTON DOWN, POOR OLD MAN, THE ROVING GAMBLER, RACCOON AND POSSUM, SARAH KELLY FROM PLUMB NELLY. The record is in excellent condition with little wear and plays with no clicks and jumps and a minimum of surface noise and has excellent labels. The original picture sleeve cover is only vg with some edge fraying and some age discolouration and staining to the rear. CLASSIC SKIFFLE  LP from one of the true pioneers of UK ROCK AND ROLL , DON LANG heRe in skiffle mode. GREAT JIVE RECORD, EXTREMELY RARE, Great record, great for parties and hard to find decent condition, from my own collection
