Description
Full-length self-titled promotional LP from Don Cherry also known as "Brown Rice" issued by Horizon/A&M Records (SP-717) in 1977. Don Cherry's answer to Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew" blending jazz-fusion jams with bursts of free jazz soloing but having a more spacious and mystical sound than what was found on the the Miles Davis electric-jazz output. ESSENTIAL LISTENING!

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in VG++/EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and a few light surface marks. Plays with some noticeable but light, sporadic surface tics...still sounds great! Gatefold Unipak design cover is in VG+ condition with wear at corners, edgewear, some surface wear and ringwear. Has gold "DEMONSTRATION Not For Sale" stamped on backside. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.50 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
