DOLLY PARTON All I Can Do 1976 Promo Picture Disc LP No Reserve
Dolly Parton - All I Can Do
RCA APL1-1665. Mega rare 1976 promo only picture disc LP.
In June of this year, we auctioned a similar one of these. At that time, we were informed that the copy we auctioned was the only one ever made. It was obtained directly from an RCA Records executive and had a handwritten inscription to him on one of the photo inserts.
Although we had not confirmed it, we were told from an outside source that perhaps two or three more were actually made at the same time.
Well, apparently one of these has now surfaced!
This copy is slightly different however. While the previous one had a black rim, this copy has a blue rim. More importantly though, this one has the LP track listing printed on the back, in place of the handwritten inscription.
These picture discs were basically prototypes and perhaps the others (if there are any) are slightly different as well.
This picture disc has the catalog number machine stamped in the trail-off area and it plays the same tracks as the released album.
To this date, as far as we know, this is one of only TWO KNOWN COPIES!

Condition VG+.
Important notes about our grading:
We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
