Description

Description:

DOCMEC - objet non identifie LP

DOCMEC are VERY OBSCURE PROG-PSYCH KRAUT ROCK band from Neuchatel, Switzerland. "Objet Non Identifie" was released in 1976 on Javeline Records (JAV.C.001), original Swiss pressing. I guess Javeline Records was bands own label - so this album could be also PRIVATE release - at list it's first (and probably) the only one release on this label. COOL and a bit RAW produced PROGRESSIVE PSYCHEDELIC KRAUT ROCK. GREAT ACID PSYCH guitar sound - here and there a bit FLUID, lot of keyboards and organ, and COOL rhythm section. It's difficult to describe DOCMEC sound - it's COOL European FREAKY PROGRESSIVE PSYCH KRAUT a bit typical to early 70s to mid 70s UNDERGROUND bands - lot of different influences melted into their own sound. Try to imagina KING CRIMSON meet early AMON DUUL 2 and maybe some WEIRD French early 70s PROG-PSYCH band, but than again different. Tracks are mostly longer, 6 to 8 minutes + few short intro/outro tracks. 8 tracks - some titles: "Sweet Home", "Beware Of Firemen", "Remember", "Saraband", "Flails",... Sleeve is ex-- (small split on edge + sticker removing damage, see the scan), vinyl is ex-.
