Description

Beautiful copies of an extremely rare complete set of Black Deuce  recordings direct from 1947 .

Reputed to be one of the greatest live jazz recordings of all time. Parker joined Gillespie for five numbers on the night, all of which feature here . The chemistry between the two bandmates bubbles over and supercedes anything achieved in the studio. Aside from some minor recording criticisms over piano drowned  by the torrent of the front two, this is the closest you shall ever be to being there.

A very fine set .
