RARE 1950s Rock N Roll ACE Label 78 RPM Record.
Dick Holler & His Rockets - Living By The Gun/Uh Uh Baby (Ace) U.S pressing Visual grade...EX- Bright record with some light scuffs/wear (few small light scratches at the outer edge) A few inaudible dimples/creases on "Uh Uh Baby" side. Some wear on labels.
This record sounds incredible....clean, crisp, BOOMING sound. It would be nearly impossible to find one that sounds better.
This one rarely comes up for sale on a 78...45s sometimes do, but very rarely 78s. If you're a 1950s rock n roll collector, here's a chance to own a true jewel. Listen to the audio/video clips below to judge audio grade. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a general grading guide we use for 78 RPM Records.  We use this, along with large images and audio/video clips of the actual records  to provide the most honest and accurate information about the records we have listed. As grading is highly subjective,we will give a visual grade of the record, and provide  audio/video of the record so the bidder can actually decide for themselves on the audio grade. Please check out all of the photos and audio/video clips before bidding.
NM.....Like new, with only the very slightest signs of having ever been played (rarely see 78s in this condition) EX+....Very clean, shiny record that has been extremely well cared for. May have a few insignificant light scuffs/marks. EX.....Nice looking record that has been well cared for.         Possibly some scuffs/light scratches, but these would be minor. EX-....Decent record, but starting to show noticeable signs of handling, with scuffs/light scratches          becoming more obvious (nothing serious, but wear IS becoming apparent) VG+....Record is starting to show it's age. Scuffs/scratches more obvious/plentiful.         Wear is becoming more evident, but still a very enjoyable/decent sounding record. VG.....This record has been well used, with scuffs/scratches/wear VERY obvious,          Still a great player and sounds decent, but it's seen it's fair share of use. VG-....Has seen very heavy use. Scratches/wear plentiful, heavier, and very obtrusive.         Still a decent player, but has a considerable amount of wear and surface noise. G/G+...Anything in this grade will have a LOT of surface wear. Still plays okay, but not a nice          looking (or sounding) record. Fair....Very rough...MAY play without skips, but will likely have an uncomfortable amount of noise. Poor....Basically a wall hanger.
Our audio clips are recorded using just an average 3 mil needle and a decent/basic record player (nothing fancy) These are raw (straight from the record) recordings with no added EQ, filters or any other type of enhancements.
All 78s are packaged securely, sandwiched and placed in a large box with extra padding on top and bottom.
