Description

Impossible rare original Dutch early 60's 7" EP featuring the legendary modern jazz combo the Diamond Five : "Musical greetings from Holland". See scan.

Track: "Amsterdam Blues". Superb stuff!!!

Other tracks on this EP are not of interest as they contain barrel organ, accordeon and choral music with the city of Amsterdam as main theme.

Musicians: Cees Slinger (piano), Harry Verbeke (tenor sax), Cees Smal (trumpet), Jacques Schols (bass), John Engels Jr. (drums).

Very rare release !!! Issued as promo only release by the Dutch Economic Information Service of the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs.

ESSENTIAL ITEM FOR ANY DUTCH / EURO JAZZ FAN OR COLLECTOR !!!

Label: DE 109 308 E. Condition record/cover: vg+ (some small surfacemarks that play with some light incidental background noise only)/vg+ (some wrinkles and bent corners). VERY RARE !!!
