LP NM- / cover VG+

Except for the slightly worn cover, this LP I don't think has been played very much at all until I test played it all the way through. The cover on the other hand is showing minor wear and corner damage,  other seams have rubbed through the finish of the card, With mild ringwear. This LP  genuinely plays extremely cleanly, only odd tics intermittantly throughout,  FULL Test play was beautiful, only occasional non repetitive pips as per normal vinyl play. NO rotational spindle marks, very minimal paper scuffs in sunlight only. Cover is only AVERAGE, as per above comments(see photos) This is a MAY 1963 printed cover, and pancake (flat edged) thick early pressing, issue of Strauss Ein Heldenleben Op.40, (Une Vie De Heroes) Solo Violin Violin player is Michael Schwalbe, conductor Herbert Von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. 

  I thoroughly enjoyed test playing this issue of a great classic LP. You can therefore only prise it from my non greasy fingers with an opening bid of $9.99.....Or I'll keep it....... 

THE COVER CONDITION MAKES THIS AN IDEAL PURCHASE FOR THE WINNER OF ANOTHER AUCTION WIN TO GET CHEAP POSTAGE FOR BULK, AND NOT HAVE TO PAY TOO MUCH FOR POSTAGE ON A LOW(er) VALUE ITEM. that is NOT in mint condition but will provide a very enjoyable listening experience

Condition (see Photo's)

 COVER- not much to say other than the cover is  good, see photo's BUT NOT PERFECT. Mild ringwear, no serious bends , no seam splits, but all edges worn and sticker on front cover from previous owners index system.Opening edge is clean and unworn, indicating to me little play or seldom extracted from cover,most early DGG's feather at the opening edge when used a few times, as it is not stiff card.

LP is shiny with light  paper scuffs only visible  in very bright light .
 NO spindle marks!! Record has been washed in a KNosti Wet Bath, then played to assess grading. Record WILL BE TREATED   with 'Last' record Preservative, IF THE FINAL SALE PRICE EXCEEDS $20, but if the new under $20 winner wants it treated I will for a couple of extra dollars (expensive treatment) LAST is an an Archive quality vinyl preserver said to protect from further wear due to playing for upto 200 "plays". Audiophiles such as your selves are probably already using this or similar, I will just have saved you the time and expense (maybe).

Full test play confirmed its glossy condition as NM, LP plays very cleanly with normal vinyl replay occasional unrepetetive tics or pops, but few and far between.

Has it's original dust jacket, (PLASTIC LINED, )otherwise excellent with no tears or bends

Mailing costs will be significant as complete box and packing will weigh in just over 0.5 Kg. Postage will cover upto 750gms, so there is room in the packet for another lightweight lp for no or very little extra cost, see if you can find another lp over the coming week to get that cheap postage !
