Description

******************  DEXTER GORDON "DEXTER CALLING" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4083.  Scarce vintage jazz Lp.  MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels.  "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Dexter Gordon/tenor sax; Kenny Drew/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Philly Joe Jones/drums.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss)!!  Labels are spotless.  The thick laminated cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully.  Spine is virtually perfect and legible.  There are NO seam splits of any kind, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Soul Sister; Modal Mood; I Want More; End Of A Love Affair; Clear The Dex; Ernie's Tune; Smile.
