This auction is for DEXTER GORDON - SELF TITLED dial records # 204 The sleeve is vg+ very nice there is a 1/4 inch tear starting to the bottom seam at the left corner and some light wear to the bottom seam at the right corner. The rear of the sleeve has a pencil pricing to the upper left corner some light staining and discoloration to the white. Other than these defects a truely stunning sleeve the silver print on the black face of the sleeve is crisp and relatively unworn looks great. The record is vg+ there is writting on both labels designating dates for the sessions light spindle marks to both labels as well. The A side is beautiful no scratches no scuffs very nice the B side has 3 very light marks to it these were probably made from the lack of a innersleeve at some point. The record plays with some light backround sound typical of these 10 inch pressings and quality of these dial pressings was never that great to begin with however the fidelity is amazing and there will be no disapointment with this a smoking hot early jazz item.
