Description
This is an original copy GE-DW-156 of "She Waits, She Loves, She Cares"/"Satan's Soul" by the DEVILS WORKSHOP. It is a 1960's (per Osborn's Record Guide) Stereo issue Recorded in The Modern Studios of Imperial Sound - Mishawaka, Indiana. It is actually a GOOD Northern Soul recording and again according to Osborn's Guide - VERY RARE. The 45 has a few light scratches and scuffs but nothing that affects play. Most of the original gloss is still on the surface. The label is clean with no marks or tape. Overall I would grade ithe record VERY GOOD PLUS. (I try to grade consevatively). The sleeve is a generic white sleeve. A RARE Northern Soul release that is actually GOOD music. I'm including a brief description of Grades to help clarify them for the novice collector. NEAR MINT: "A nearly perfect record...should show no obvious signs of wear". VERY GOOD PLUS: "record will show signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect ones listening experience. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole". VERY GOOD: Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or 45 covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them". GOOD/GOOD PLUS: "A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seem splits. Tape writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object". S/H is FREE Priority w/tracking - US ONLY.
