DEVIL'S ANVIL - Hard Rock From The Middle East (Can. Columbia 9464) 1967
Incredible NY Turkish/Arabic Middle Eastern Psych Rock arranged by Felix Pappalardi.Oud, Bouzouki, Tamboura, Durbeki, Fuzz Bass, Fuzz Gadzouki, and some incredible Electric leads by Felix Pappalardi. Along with John Berberian and Orient Express one of only a handful of US LP's in the middle Eastern psych Rock bag, but this one has got to be the most original. Much harder to find than Freak Scene or Orient Express in my opinion. Original Canadian pressing on the Columbia 360 Label. Cover is VG+ with a piece of tape top left and some starting age/ringwear. Record is clean EX!
