...1968 U.K. VINYL LP ORIGINAL : On the Stable Records Label, (this is orange with black lettering & Stable RECORDS name logo also in black !)  ...In Gatefold Sleeve, (this is a front and back 'laminated' gatefold type sleeve, where the record inserts inside and at the middle of the gatefold when it's opened out ! ...There are also 2 'flipbacks' inside the gatefold sleeve on the right-hand side ! ...Pressed on thick 'quality' vinyl ! ...A 'Superb' & rockin' progressive psych-rock album ! ...Has some 'wicked' guitar ! ...All the Deviants LPs' are rare and this is their Original 2nd Album Release ! ...Titled, 'Disposable' - A Very Rare Original & 'Classic' Album By The Deviants ! ...

... Originally known as The Social Deviants, this was a London-based community underground band that grew up in the Notting Hill area. Farren and Russell ran into a 21 year old millionaire who put up £700 to finance their first album on their own Underground Impressarios label, (This was distributed by mail order through 'Oz' and 'The International Times' and sold sufficiently well for Decca to later reissue it !)... 'Diposable' for me is their best album, being rock-orientated, imaginative and with some great rock tracks - most notable ; Slum Lord, Jamie's Song, You've Got To Hold On, Fire In The City and Guaranteed To Bleed... (The Deviants also issued a single, which is now also a rare collectors' item !) ...After this second album, some would say a somewhat disappointing third album followed and the band disintegrated during an American tour ! ...

...The remaining members plus Twink then formed the Pink Fairies ! ...Rudolph also had a spell with Hawkwind ! ...

...CONDITION / GRADE : No Problems & A 'Nice' Condition Original Vinyl LP ; (The Stable Record Labels are in EX+ condition - just one tiny, tiny little 'dot' type mark at the centre spindle-hole on the Side 1 record label ; nothing to be concerned about ! / The Side 2 record label is in Perfect condition !)... / (There is a pen name/address written at the top, right-hand side, inside of the gatefold sleeve when it's opened out ! / The spine is in excellent condition and the words are readable)... Apart from mentioning this, The Gatefold Sleeve is in EX. condition with just a very little, pretty insignificant 'age' type wear to the corners ! nothing much really and it's quite presentable ! ... / (There are a couple of small, light and superficial 'surface' type marks that are 'visual' only and don't seriously affect the play or the overall grade !)... Basically therefore and as such, The Vinyl is in essentially EX. condition... (no serious problems : it plays clearly, excellent and as it should ! ...Enjoyable Listening !) ...Essentially then, an overall 'decent' and excellent copy of this rare original album ! ...(a rare 'gem' for any prog/psych/rock collection !)...
