DESERT SESSIONS VOLUME 8 10" BLACK VINYL TEST PRESSING!!!!! Before a record goes into full production, test pressings are made to check the sound quality of the mastered music and to make sure that the "mother" (the wax master cutting of a vinyl record) was cut properly.
DESERT SESSIONS VOLUME 7 & 8 was THE VERY FIRST RELEASE on Josh Homme's (post-Man's Ruin Records' bankruptcy-formed label) REKORDS REKORDS.
REKORDS REKORDS was started by Josh with the help of former Man's Ruin Records' Presidentrix, Lydia Russell AND Greg "Southern Lord" Anderson...and in following the Man's Ruin system of manufacturing, only ten test pressings were made for this release...
SO, FRIENDS...THIS IS ONE OF TEN!!!!! ULTRA RARE!!!!!
The record is in excellent condition, it was played a few times when it was new, as it is TEST PRESSING, but it is no worse for the wear...it has been stored in a climate-controlled environment as long as it has been in my possession.
Other info: Features a STARK WHITE SPINDLE, as no logos had yet been designed for the label!

This will be an AMAZING addition to any collection...as this is impossible to reproduce - even if they re-issued this record and ran new test pressings, they would be second pressings and therefore, never as valuable as this!
