DERRICK MORGAN The Return Of Jack Slade / Fat Man UNITY 546 (1970)
Real deal Skinhead fare, Derrick sings about how the Reggae is taking the UK by storm. "From London to Birmingham to Liverpool" he retorts "This is the sound of now!" over a cooking Reggae beat, then halfway through the track he shout "Skinheads! Move, feel the groove". Proper job. 'B' side is a re-working of his old Ska tune, given the Boss Sound treatment. Condition is VG no skips, no jumps just a wee bit of crackle but hey, this record is almost 50 years old! Few marks, could probably do with a good clean. Spot on right side of photo is in the camera lens. Plays nice and loud, a must for any DJ or Skinhead Reggae collector.
