TITLE/ARTIST: OK---this is quite possibly one of those really rare finds in the area of LP record collecting. I am selling this LP for a friend of mine, and therefore have posted a rare "reserve". My regular customers know I rarely, if ever, use reserves. Anyway, this record has been played tested for it's authenticity, as all of the price guides say you have to do----since it's being in STEREO is not mentioned on either the jacket or the label. There is a definite separation of the music and the words when played on a turntable. Also, worthy of mentioning here is the fact that the letter "S" is included in the dead wax area of each side-----715S-1A and 716S-1A in print form. I believe this satisfies the book suggestion that the letter "S" appears in the dead wax trail-off on some copies of this LP as a means of authenticating the piece. Please check your own price guides and/or informational books for the true value and exact details connected to this LP---some guides even list it's top value at $1500.00! Feel free to email me if you need any additional information. Otherwise, included on this album are 12 classic cuts from this era of music, including the title song and his follow up hit, "Two Kinds Of Teardrops", done only as the late Del Shannon can do them. In my opinion, both the jacket and the vinyl are in really nice shape, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself;  

LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, black with silver print  BIGTOP Label, 12-1308, is in STEREO (as determined by play testing the record, plus the trail-off "S") and is in excellent overall condition. For you to know, there are several spindle marks around the center hole on both sides, and the word "NAN" has been written on the LP's "B-Side" only (although it is hardly noticable); 

VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also very shiny, clean and nice. There are just a couple of very light surface/paper lines on either side---but nothing too serious at all, in my opinion

JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also in excellent condition as well, and again leaves me with very little to report. It is really clean and clear overall----there are just a couple of small scuff/bump marks in the open side corners, and the word "NAN" has also be very lightly written on the jacket's front side (practically unnoticable though). Otherwise, it appears perfectly fine. So again, please check out the pictures below and judge for yourself. 

INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this ultra rare Del Shannon LP out there at all----not to mention in the super rare STEREO format. So, please do your homework and then have at it. Again, for this unusually rare piece (and because I am selling it for a friend of mine), I have included a very reasonable "reserve". Finally, I have also listed other LP's and 45's by artists from the 50-60's in this week's auctions as well. I am slowly selling off my own personal collection, and there are many LPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these are also quite rare and hard to find anymore, and most all of them are in great shape (in fact, most are near mint). So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
