With consistent excellence, and a perfect combination of poetry and lyricism, he here in fact leapt upon the world stage with enormous notice, delivering a truly fine set of Schubert LIEDER with incomparable accompanist, Gerald Moore.

This is DGG’s clothbound edition of 12 LPs, all pressed in Germany, in very fine shape: Box is without fault of any kind, the book within is perfect, and all 12 LPs still shine, giving the appearance of perhaps never having been played.

An extraordinary musical event, second to none.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States.  Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter.  (Canada is half that.)  Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $3, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail.  Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
