Description
This is the original UK 12" ACETATE by DEEP PURPLE, this Pre-Dates all known UK releases, the heavy 12" lacquer coated metal disc has three tracks, "HUSH", "AND THE ADDRESS" and "HEY JOE", all pressed in gloroius STEREO.
On the back of the Acetate there is 'Transco' stamped above the centre hole, this I beleive to be the company that make these discs, underneath is the numbers 8 67, which I believe to be the date on whish this acetate was pressed, August 1967, WOW!
All three tracks appear on the their 1st UK LP 'Shades of Deep Purple' released in September 1968, 13 months after this RARE Acetate was made.
The disc is in EX condtion, amazing condition, considering is fragility and rarity, I have played the acetate, ONCE and ONCE ONLY!, and I can tell you all 3 tracks play SUPERBLY, with only a hint of light crackle inbetween tracks.
The hand written EmiDisc white label is in EX+++ condition, no stains, no scuffs, lovely condition.
THIS IS A TRUE MEGA RARITY!, I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE EVER!, MEGA MEGA RARE AND A VERY EXCITING FIND!.
