Description
Welcome, up for auction is a very rare (possible one of a kind) copy of Deep Purple Machine Head, with a error blank label on side two. Only the Warner Brothers Record information is contained on side two of the album no track information is displayed. Dead wax information is as follows. Side One "side - 1 bs-2607 40125-1 #1". Side Two "zub side bs-2607 40126-1. Additionally there is a "0" stamped on both sides of the dead wax. The spine information is BS 2607 MACHINE HEAD / DEEP PURPLE 0598 R1972 WARNER BROS. RECORDS INC. PRINTED IN U.S.A. The condition of the record is excellant, it has all of it's origional high shine. It does how ever have two small extremely light hair line scratches on side one approximately one inch in length. Additionally there are what I would call pit marks on both sides of the records, these are very light and may not show in my pictures. The condition of the cover is fair there are no seem splits and the spine is is still solid. I would rate it as VG. OK now the good part, I have played this record all the wat through on my MMF-5 table and on a scale of 1 to 10 on overall soud quality I would give it a 9. What keeps it from being a 10 is there is some low level background noise that creeps up in about 5 to maybe 10 percent of the recording. There are however no loud pops or skipping of any kind, that would keep you from enjoying the album at high levels. Record has been vacuumed and will include a MoFi Sleeve, only the best for this baby. Any questions please emai me.
