DEEP PURPLE - IN ROCK
HARVEST UNBOXED LABEL FIRST UK PRESSING WITH 1ST ISSUE OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in June 1970 on the HARVEST label, I am offering today this excellent all round first UK pressing of this classic album by DEEP PURPLE titled "IN ROCK". and this is a very first complete UK pressing with NO EMI box and Gramophone rim text. later pressing state EMI. The matrix numbers are A2 B1 and it comes complete with its original Harvest records company inner sleeve.
The album is the bands fourth release and the bands first album to feature the powerful vocals of newly joined front man Ian Gillan. The album comes complete with Garrod & Lofthouse outer laminated gatefold sleeve which apart from a tiny sticker removal residue above Gillan's head is in superb condition. it has no splits or tears or unwanted writing etc.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc and contains some breathtaking tracks including the FLIGHT OF THE RAT and CHILD IN TIME.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks very clean there is a tiny scratch on the track Speed King which causes no problems and audibly it plays with excellent audio, with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc overall this is a nice playing example.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse outer laminated gatefold sleeve is in very clean excellent condition with very white inner gate. There are no splits or stickers etc but there is a small sticker residue mark on the front.
The LABELS, The un boxed Harvest labels are very clean, showing moderate spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The Harvest company inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
