Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, a rare extremely rare pressing of Deep Purple – Deep Purple in Rock on Harvest SHVL 777 with the “Sold in U.K.” statement and NO EMI box on the labels.

The record is in VG to VG+ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding marks only. The labels are in EX condition, both sides have a coupe spindle marks.

The cover is in VG condition, there is some very light rubbing damage on the front and it looks like the cover has been a bit damp; the front is a very slightly “wavy”. The spine has some bald spots and there is a name written with a felt tip marker on the back. The inside of the gatefold has a couple age browning spots.

This is an extremely rare misprinted labels Deep Purple in Rock. The “Sold in U.K.” statement should have been deleted from all U.K. EMI – group labels since the summer of 1969. This Deep Purple was released one after EMI have deleted the “Sold in U.K.” statement from their record labels and therefore this is a real must have for all Deep Purple Collectors!
