Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my spare hard rock and progressive music records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare pressing of Deep Purple – Deep Purple in Rock on the Harvest label, cat. no. SHVL 777 with the “Sold in U.K.” statement and NO EMI box on the labels.
The record is in EX minus condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition, both sides have a coupe spindle marks.
The cover is in EX minus condition, there is some very light rubbing damage on the top seam on the front and the spine has a couple tiny bald spots. Besides mentioned imperfections, this cover looks great; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
This is an extremely rare copy of Deep Purple’s Deep Purple in Rock album with misprinted labels. The “Sold in U.K.” statement should have been deleted from all U.K. EMI – group labels since the summer of 1969. This Deep Purple was released one year after EMI have deleted the “Sold in U.K.” statement from their record labels and therefore this is a real must have for all Deep Purple Collectors!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 16.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
