Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the black and gold Decca label. It is Album No. A-600 entitled "FIVE FEET OF SWING", a Collection of 5-12 inch Outstanding Swing Classics; great jazz/dance orchestras. The records include:
1. #29237, Bob Crosby&Orch., "South Rampart Street Parade" and "Dogtown Blues".
2. #29238, Dorsey Brothers Orch., "Solitude" and "Weary Blues".
3. #29239, Chick Webb&Orch.&Ella Fitzgerald Vocals, "I Want To Be Happy" and "Hallelujah!"
4. #29240, Jimmy Dorsey&Orch., "Song Of The Volga Boatmen" and "I Cried For You".
5. #29241, Glen Gray&Casa Loma Orch., "Sleepy Time Gal" and "Drifting Apart".
The Set is another from new old stock. The records are in excellent to E+ condition-look almost new, no wear and scuffs or scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean! Cover and sleeves also in very good condition as well.
