Why collectors love this record This is an original Soviet pressing of DDT – “Я получил эту роль” (I Got This Role), released on the legendary Melodiya label in 1989. At the end of the 80s DDT became one of the voices of Russian rock – sharp lyrics, dark atmosphere and honest energy that you can feel even through the paper sleeve. Many of these records were played to death on old turntables, so it’s getting harder to find a complete copy with a nice, presentable cover and fully playable vinyl.

If you love Soviet / Russian rock history, this LP is a great piece to have on the shelf – both for listening and as a slice of late–USSR underground culture. Tracklist Side A:

Я получил эту роль – 5:39 ✅ Condition (please read & see photos) Vinyl: Very Good (VG) – visible light scratches and scuffs on both sides, especially when held to strong light. On my turntable it plays without skips, with some background noise and occasional clicks typical for a 35+ year old Soviet pressing. Good, honest listening copy for fans, not for strict audiophile collectors.

Sleeve: Very Good (VG) – edge and corner wear, small creases and general age-related rubbing to front and back. No big tears, still solid and fully legible. Inner sleeve with printed information shows some handling wear and slight yellowing.
