GRADING SCALE:
Mint/Sealed (M/S) – Only sealed records are presumed M/S.
Near Mint (NM) – Record shows no sign of wear, appears unplayed. NM looks like you just bought it new and slit the shrink wrap to remove the record.
Excellent (EX) – May show faint paper scuffs on record surface, otherwise a desirable copy.
Very Good Plus (VG+) – Shows signs that it was played and handled by an owner who took good care of it. Record surface may show slight scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Light background noise may be heard in soft passages, intro and fade. A good cleaning should take care of this.
Very Good (VG) – Many of the signs found in a VG+ record are more noticeable here. Background noise may be noticeable without skips, especially in soft passages and during the intro and fade, but will not overpower your listening experience.
Very Good Minus (VG-) – A VG- grade is for a record that has more wear and noise, but will play without skips.
Good (G) and Good Plus (G+) – A record in G or G+ condition can play through without skipping, yet it will have significant surface noise, scratches and/or visible groove wear. The only reason I list a record in this condition is because of its rarity (considered a filler until a suitable copy shows up).
I hand clean the record with distilled water only. People are peculiar as to how a record should be cleaned so I leave the deep cleaning up to you. As you already know it is always recommended you clean both vintage and new records prior to play. This will enhance the listening experience by minimizing the background noise or static inherent in all vinyl records.

Record is visually graded under a bright light (too many in my inventory to play grade). Carefully packed in a box especially made for shipping records (bubble wrap and/or cardboard pads added for extra protection). "FRAGILE: VINYL RECORDS" labels will be affixed to the front and back of the box. Will always ship within one business day of payment.
