Brief Info: The first solo album by David Coverdale after the split of Deep Purple. Not to be confused with the name of his future band, this was the name of this particular album. The label title could make this even more unclear as it fails to include a space between the two words making it appear as one. This a super copy and one of the earliest made with the second stamper codes only to ‘G’ as seen above and it plays superbly. Produced by Deep Purple’s Roger Glover and issued on the Purple label too.

Cover Grade and Format: EXCELLENT : a single unlaminated format with textured matt surfaces both sides. Printed and made in England by Garrod & Lofthouse and includes the lyric inner sleeve.

Cover Front: A little light corner tip creasing, that apart, little short of as made and looking fantastic. Fresh, unrubbed with no speckle to the raised surfaces, when seen for real, this cover looks fantastic. A very strong all-round example of this fragile 70’s cover, one that will prove very difficult to find much better. This beautiful item should please many, if not most collectors.

The Inner Sleeve: MINT(-): a hard card unlined lyric inner sleeve with a wide recessed top opening edge that is pristine. All four corners rounded, crisp and super-sharp and all edges unsplit with no repairs.

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EXCELLENT: a very fine visual copy that is very clean, shiny, intense black and solidly pressed. A copy with modest plays on all the evidence with any surface marks few, mainly light and faint as seen critically under bright angled light. The odd one shows a little more but there are NO penetrating scratches on this fresh looking disc that offers super sound throughout. Visually a super record that should please many collectors.
