David Bowie was released in the UK on 1st of June 1967,the same date of release as The Beatles,Sgt.Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club Band!

One big difference is that Sgt Pepper`s sold Millions of copies but David Bowie sold very little due to bad management,poor advertising and marketing!

So here it is! One of the rarest UK lps ever made!

The back is also in excellent clean condition with just some minor discolouration!There is a little piece missing from the top left corner of the back,it is just a surface piece and does not go right through to the inside. Excellent edges and spine(see pics) Minor corner wear.

It has been play tested before listing on my Linn Sondek turntable,through Quad amps to Spendor speakers-

Results-

-Side 1-

Absolute minimum noise on the run in to this side,just a little tic before the first track starts.Hardly any background noise during playback,just one little tic inbetween track 1 and 2,and one little tic at the start of track 2(hardly noticeable,have a listen).Apart from these very minor faults the rest of this side has incredible playback with no background noise at all,even between tracks,its amazing.

Absolute minimum noise on the run in to this side.Minimal background noise during playback(if any) This side has incredible playback with minimal background noise,even between tracks,its amazing.

The Perfectly flat vinyl looks visually in near mint condition.There are about 3 light surface marks that are purely surface.

Both sides look perfectly clean with lovely mirror like surfaces! It looks near mint! 

Original Polly lined inner sleeve is discoloured.
