Released almost exactly 40 years ago on 4th November 1969, this is widely acknowledged as Bowie's 1st 'proper' album.
It was re-titled 'Man of words/Man of Music' in the U.S. but despite its brilliance it sold poorly & was swiftly deleted re-appearing again as 'Space Oddity' on RCA in 1972, albeit without the track 'Don't Sit Down'
The disc is housed within an unlaminated UK printed gatefold cover with orig inner bag, beautifully designed by acclaimed Hungarian/French artist Victor Vasarely.
