This is the self-titled 1967 Deram Records debut release by David Bowie. It is STEREO, #DES 18003. In the dead wax trail off area, the matrix info listed is, Side One, it says 4-20-67, ZAL 7656, Bell Sound. On Side Two, it says ZAL 7657, Bell Sound. See the pics for further details. I'll try to take as many photos as I can of both the jacket & lp so you can read & see for yourself all the details of this amazing debut by David Bowie. As this lp & jacket is almost 50 years old, the description will be as critical as I can be from the VISUAL inspection. I DO NOT have stereo equipment to play this & I wouldn't want to damage the vinyl if I did. The vinyl is VG, bright and shiny. There is a light scratch on Side One that goes across the 1st 3 tracks. This may or may not be audible when playing. For serious, deep-pocketed collectors, with the most high-end equipment on the planet, I'm sure you'll experience something when playing (or maybe not, who knows). The jacket is VG with OBVIOUS dings, marks, damaged corners & spine area, ringwear, etc., from handling/usage, shelf storage, etc. Again, study the photos as best as you can before making your buying decision. I have a very extensive collection of records (over 250,000) in warehouse storage & haven't even begun to tap into the rarities I own. But now David's death is the last straw for me. I'm going to dig & dig this year until my head explodes. THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Buyer pays the S&H.
