Description
1980 David Bowie Scary Monsters Original UK First Pressing BOW LP 2
The sleeve and inner gatefold lyric sheet appear to have discoloured edges however this is part of the original design and not a flaw.
Considering the age of this vinyl it is in exceptional condition as follows:
Sleeve VG+ with small crease to bottom left corner otherwise near mint
Inner poly lined paper record sleeve VG original-printed with patent numbers has a slight crease running from central circular viewing window up and out towards top left corner and slight discolouration at the opening edge
Inner gatefold lyric sheet with credits NM with barely visible blemish to centre right hand edge
Vinyl media VG+ with some evidence of surface marking to side b which doesn’t effect playback quality
Rare matrix runouts side a - etched JA TAPE1
Stamped 10 (sideways) and BOWLP 2 A-1U :
Side b - etched JA TAPE1 stamped BOWLP 2 B-1U and C (sideways)
All the vinyl that I sell will have as standard a protective PVC cover, will be sent via Royal Mail using a signed for service which will include full insurance whilst in transit until receipt. The final sale value will determine the postage rate to ensure the insurance is sufficient.
Vinyl with a final sale value below £50 will be sent second class signed for as standard unless you choose a different level of service at checkout, or request an alternative service before making your purchase.
Vinyl with a final sale value above £50 will be sent using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service only, with guaranteed next day delivery before 1pm (although there are no deliveries made on Sunday and a Saturday delivery will incur additional costs. If Saturday delivery is required, please contact me before clicking buy it now for a quote and to allow me time to add the additional service to the listing)
