This is an ORIGINAL 1977 FIRST UK PRESSING of David Bowie`s Electronic MASTERPIECE LOW . It is also a FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE .So GAURENTEED TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST THEY EVER PRESSED.Done to check quality control and send out to Journalists and DJs who the record companies deemed able to promote the record. There are many collectors who will 

say "oh yeah, its just a sticker" . The fact is that it is not. THIS STICKER REPRESENTS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE RUNS BEFORE THE STOCK COPIES HAVE BEEN PRESSED TO SELL IN THE SHOPS. And if your looking for some authentication as to support that. I can offer you only two things but to me these two things are vitally important. Firstly my own word. That still means a hell of a lot to me. And I don't sell fake`s . Actually that's not true I do. In 38 years of collecting I have only ever seen ONE OTHER COPY OF LOW

WITH THIS STICKER. If that is not enough. The other piece of authentication you can DEFINITLY TRUST IS YOUR OWN BRAIN . 

How many have you seen yourself ? 

The Original stickered sleeve is in Very good + condition (not the best I have seen).

The record is in EXCELLENT condition throughout and plays like a dream.Beautiful all the way through.

There is just something about this LP . I think it is the fact that it sits there in its simple and quite boring Orange sleeve ,that suggests to me that this is a simple LP.

THAT IS A DAVID BOWIE RED HERRING.

THIS LP IS MONUMENTAL. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST MONUMENTAL
LPS EVER MADE BY ANY ARTIST. AFTER ITS RELEASE THIS GROUND BREAKING LP SPEARHEADED THE DIRECTION OF MUSIC IN
ENGLAND. AND THE RIPPLES WENT GLOBAL.

I remember the days when I did not understand it.

It used to sit in my collection and intimidate me . Id flick through the discs looking for something to listen to and get to LOW and say to myself "No not that again it gives me a headache". I have always found that the records you struggle most with, are the ones that after you put the work in , you get the most out of. LOW is a puzzle to be worked out by YOU. Then after about 5 years the penny finally dropped. 

What an epiphanic moment that was.

When you talk to other Bowie fans about LOW you can measure to what degree they understand it by the things they say. 

If you were to do a survey of all the 

Bowie fans on Earth asking what is Bowie`s best LP, this is what they would say....Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust , Aladdin Sane , Diamond dogs....Who among you would disagree with that ?

Ask the worlds most professional musicians and LOW is the choice every time. I love what Paul McCartney says about Bowie. He said "yeah the Beatles are byfar the biggest group ever, but if your talking influential its Roxy Music and Bowie.And it`s Bowie`s LOW LP . It dosen`t pander to the listener it challenges the listener and that, is very clever". I myself understand that comment I struggled with LOW for

5 years.David himself said "Low is my DNA . Cut me, and I bleed 

LOW". I love that quote....

Did you ever hear a more harrowing song .

It should have been the soundtrack to Schindler`s List .

I can play New career in a new Town 50 times and not bore of it.

I love the time an interviewer asked Bowie "why did you not put

words to the Instrumentals on Low ?".

Bowie`s answer .......

"No language exists that could describe how I was 

feeling when I recorded LOW".

Those are the words of a genius.
