IMPOSSIBLY RARE.
Of all the countries around the world that they pressed
David Bowie LPs in, no pressings are harder to find than
those pressed in South Africa.All the Bowie LPs pressed
in South Africa were pressed by the Teal record company.
Many of the sleeves and lables are totally different to the
rest of the world making them highly prised by the hardest
and most serious Bowie completest collectors.
To get your hands on an original South African pressing is
an extremely rare opportunity not to be missed.
So here is ALADDIN SANE ,South African STILL IN THE SHRINK WRAP!
I wonder if it was Bowie who had them put that ugly Magic Of Music logo on
the front of his new LP ?
As you can see there is the minimal wring ware possible, very slight ware to
the corners and the sleeve is bright and spotless due obviously to the protection
of the cellophane wrap still in firm position.All the spinal writings are crystal
clear and totally undamaged.
A truly OUTSTANDING rarety
The lables are immaculate and the vinyl is in beautiful order
A few wispy marks from removing the thick heavy vinyl from the paper
inner but the record is in lovely condition obviously this careful owner had
sense enough to leave the shop cellophane in place and he has treated this
rare record with the same due respect.
In great condition. Its amazing this record is nearly 43 years old.
In 38 years of collecting I have never seen another copy of this
South African ALADDIN SANE LP.
This is one you really don't want to miss!

All my life I have attended record fairs, been pen pals with other Bowie collectors
from all over the world. I bought the very first edition of record collector in 1979 and
met suppliers in the classifieds. Scoured second hand shops always searching for rare
records. In a lifetime of collecting I have only come across the few South African
pressings you see here. When the rest of the Bowie collecting fraternity wakes up to the
rarity and collectability of these great items their value is certain to soar.
