DAVID AXELROD (R.I.P. 2/5/2017) - "Song Of Innocence"
(Capitol ST-2982) Original 1968 US first pressing (Stereo)
Visually graded condition of disc: VG++ to Near Mint minus (played maybe once or twice back then. Many paper scuffs which is common for Capitol pressings of this era)
Condition of sleeve: Still in shrink. Remnants of a small sticker at top right is outside on shrink. Small spot of wear in lower right corner where shrink split. This was a first press promo sent to our radio station, oddly without the normal Capitol promo hole which they began applying right around this time.

All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous.
MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
M-/NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
