Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN PRESSING of DAVE WELLS AND THE FOUR WINDS' "SELF TITLED" LP from 196? on Paragon Records (Cat. #ALS 260). Relatively unknown Canadian Psych/Garage rarity on the same collectible label as the first Christmas, second Reign Ghost, etc.. For the most part a 60's exploito-style covers album but the musicianship and original takes on the material definitely set this one apart. The highlight here is the hard-drum driven cover of "Season of the Witch" featuring great slinky wahwah and wasted vocals... easily the best version of this song I've ever heard! Cover has some light ring and shelf wear. Vinyl has a few light superficial scuffs. Beautiful copy!
Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is VG++ / VG++.
Shipping/handling for 1 LP is $9.99 within Canada, $10.99 to the United States and $17.99 Internationally. 2 to 3 LP's is $15.99 to the United States and $33.99 Internationally. Slightly more for Western Canadian Provinces, Australia and Asia (Japan, Russia, etc). Rates can be confirmed at www.canadapost.ca.
