Dana Gillespie, "Foolish Seasons" Vinyl LP
Dana Gillespie’s debut album, Foolish Seasons, is one of the great lost albums of 1960’s British pop. This very rare and sought-after 1968 album from the legendary British singer/songwriter was only released in the U.S. and over the years its reputation among collectors has only grown. Although it never came out in England, Decca Records kept the masters to the intended U.K. pressing which is now being released on vinyl. It contains two previously unreleased, self-penned tracks – the blue-eyed soul bop “Goin’ Round in Circles” and the orchestral “Come to My Arms” which could almost have been a Bond theme.
Side A:
1. You Just Gotta Know My Mind
2. Tears In My Eyes
3. Life Is Short
4. Souvenirs Of Stefan
5. Can't You See I'm Dreaming
6. Goin' Round In Circles
7. No, No, No, No, No
Side B:
8. He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
9. London Social Degree
10. Dead
11. Foolish Reasons
12. Where Will You Be
13. Come To My Arms
14. Hard Lovin' Loser
