DAEVID ALLEN LP Banana Moon

Description

First solo release by late Australian beatnik-turned-eurohippie Daevid Allen, contemporary with his early work with Gong. Features Pip Pyle and Christian Tritsch of Gong along with Robert Wyatt, etc, and includes probably-the-best version of the old Soft Machine song "Memories". Whole album is amiably potty in style, although not as far off into outer space as Gong. Gatefold cover features a certain amount of "pothead pixie" crazy artwork on the inside , courtesy Daevid himself.
