DA SLYME
Ultra rare Canadian punk LP from Newfoundland! Arguable the first Canadian punk LP and the first DIY double album. Ridiculously rare. Generally agreed that only 200 were made.
Legend has it the band ran out of money and couldn't get proper jackets printed. They simply went to thrift stores and bought dirt cheap records, pitched the LPs and either spray painted or wrote with marker "Da Slyme" on the cover. This copy is a marker copy. Jerry Knight's name is crossed out and "not" written beside it.
Includes original 8 page insert.
Both LPs are in excellent condition. Most would claim near mint but I'm a conservative fellow and will say E or E-.
