Who the hellion is Crispin Glover?
Wikipedia: Crispin Hellion Glover (born April 20, 1964) is an American film actor, director and screenwriter, avant-garde musician, publisher and author. Glover is known for portraying eccentric people on screen such as George McFly in Back to the Future, Layne in River's Edge, unfriendly recluse Rubin Farr in Rubin and Ed, the "Creepy Thin Man" in the big screen adaptation of Charlie's Angels and its sequel, Willard Stiles in the Willard remake, and The Knave of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland.
What was he thinking when he recorded this record? Who knows.
Is it a masterpiece? Is Crispin "god"? Is it weird beyond belief? Is it totally mad? It's all of the above.
This was released in 1989 on the American indie label Restless Records. I bought it in the early 90s, and it still has the original shrinkwrap it came in. It's been opened but never played. It's also got the original booklet, featuring pages of text from his books and photos of Crispin in tight stripey trousers climbing around in caves.
I'm sure there is someone out there for whom this will complete their life (or their record collection) and that's great, because I'm ready to part with it.
