Cressida Asylum. Original German issue on the Vertigo Swirl / Spiral Label. Cat no 6360 025 on cover and stamped on runout groove of vinyl. Highly sought after lp, one of the best and rarest on this superb label.

This particular example is in exceptional condition. I believe the reason for this is that it is a sample record (it has a sticker on the “A” side saying “Sample Record – not for sale”) and has obviously not been sold and done the usual rounds, simply stored from new.

Vinyl M-: I never grade lps straight Mint but this one is as near to it as you will get in a 34 year old record. NO scratches, crackle, pop or marks. Connoiseurs of the label will know that this album has some very quiet passages and they play as near to silent as vinyl allows. I cannot imagine this Lp sounded any better off the shelf in 1971! It has been played a very few times by myself using a high quality cartridge including an assessment just for this listing. I never sell lps on looks alone, although this looks like new too!

Gatefold cover Ex++: NO tears, writing, stickers or marks of any kind. Some light creases from storage (these are the reason I do not grade the cover M-), slight browning around the spine due to age and a miniscule amount of ringwear – most would not even mention it.

A very, very rare opportunity to obtain this lp in such condition.
