Published in the US in February of 1969 after '' Creedence Clearwater Revival '' and before '' Willy and the Poor Boys' ', reached number 7 in the US charts and entered the UK where those came out' in June 1969. The second lp. Gia 'from the opening notes of "Born on the Bayou," Bayou Country reveals itself as one of the masterpieces of Creedence Clearwater Revival, the group completes its maturation between their first and second albums, revealing the tremendous songwriting talents of John Fogerty and the devastating power of the musical group, "Graveyard Train", "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Keep on Chooglin '" and especially the epic and beautiful "Proud Mary." The record, as the subject of some songs, goes like a steam boat on the rivers of Louisiana, and tells the stories impregnated with moisture 'night and lives adrift, with a unique and original musical climax that mixes psychedelia of San Francisco to Cajun to Country, Blues to Soul, Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly with sprinkles, and the sound of the Stax more 'R & B, even exceptional "Born on the Bayou," "Penthouse Pauper", "Porterville "" Bootleg ", structured in long jams, and 'widely considered one of the masterpieces of the group, the lead guitarist John Fogerty reaches heights here a few times matched for refinement and originality'. One of the most 'successful portraits of America that never have been painted and a true classic rock music of all time and latitude. Pubblicato in USA nel Febbraio del 1969 dopo ''Creedence Clearwater Revival'' e prima di ''Willy and the Poor Boys'', giunto al numero 7 delle classifiche americane e non entrato in quelle UK dove usci' nel Giugno del 1969. Il secondo lp. Gia' dalle note di apertura di "Born on the Bayou", Bayou Country si rivela come uno dei masterpieces dei Creedence Clearwater Revival, il gruppo completa la propria maturazione proprio tra il primo ed il secondo album, rivelando l'immane talento compositivo di John Fogerty e la devastante potenza musicale del gruppo, "Graveyard Train", "Good Golly Miss Molly", "Keep on Chooglin' ", ma soprattutto la epica e meravigliosa "Proud Mary". Il disco, come l'argomento di alcuni brani, va come un battello a vapore sui fiumi della Louisiana, e ne racconta le storie impregnate di umidita' notturna e vite alla deriva, con un climax musicale unico ed originalissimo che mischia la psychedelia di San Francisco al Cajun, al Country, al Blues, al Soul, al Rock'n'Roll, con spruzzate di Rockabilly, ed al suono della Stax piu' R&B, eccezionali anche "Born on the Bayou", "Penthouse Pauper", "Porterville", "Bootleg", strutturato in lunghe jams, e' considerato a ragione uno dei capolavori del gruppo, la chitarra solista di John Fogerty raggiunge qui vette poche volte eguagliate per raffinatezza ed originalita'. Uno dei piu' riusciti ritratti dell'America che mai siano stati affrescati ed un vero classico della musica rock di ogni tempo e latitudine.
