Description

Incredibly rare 7" EP by  Country Joe & The Fish  issued in 1965 by  Rag Baby Records and DMB Publications, USA.
Holy grail Bay psychedelic era gem that seldom turns up.
Country Joe's first release on tiny private Berkeley label, pre-Vanguard.
The first band: Country Joe McDonald, Barry Melton, Bill Steele, Carl Schrager and Mike Beardslee.
They play The Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag and Superbird. Totaaly different embryonic versions.
On the flip are two songs by Pete Krug.
All recordings are exclusive to this EP.
The record is housed in an oblong envelope that says:
Vol. 1, issue A, october 1965.
Taliking issue, Rag baby San Francisco Area Folk Scene, Songs Of Opposition.
The condition of the record:  played just a few times but like all other copies the quality of the vinyl is somewhat poor so it's vg+
The picture envelope is in excellent condition save for the flap which is one third loose but firmly attached.
If you're a fan of the San Francisco 60's scene this is a must!
