WEST COASTING WITH CONTE CANDOLI AND STAN LEVEY, Bethlehem BCP-9, deep groove pressing.
This Bethlehem classic contains 2 sessions recorded in 1954. The musicians are Conte Candoli (trumpet), Zoot Sims (tenor sax), Jimmy Giuffre (baritone sax), Claude Williamson (piano), Max Bennett (bass), Stan Levey (drums)
The tunes are Fine and Dandy, Night Flight, I Can't Get Started With You, On the Alamo, Tune For Tex, They Can't Take That Away From Me, Everything Happens To Me, I'll Remember April, Exaktamo, Extraversion, Drum Sticks, Lightnin' Bug, West Coasting, Fast Clip.
Condition of record is E, 2 very light scuffs, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, 1 inch seam split top right, "D.J. Sample Copy" stamped twice on back.
