Description
The Complete Clifford Brown Blue Note and Pacific Jazz Recordings. Mosaic 5 LP Box Set. Out of Print. # 4073 of a pressing of 7500. Fantastic collection. This was one of the 1st sets manufactured by Mosaic. Vinyl in very good condtion, very few surface marks and what few there are are extremely minor. Records play quite well, although very very occassionally there will be a small display of surface pops. Perhaps a good cleaning will take care of this, as the vinly appears to be in very good condition. It's nothing major, I just don't want anyone to feel misinformed. Box and booklet in very good condition. Box cover shows some damage along the top (water?). the booklet also exhibits a litle discoloring along the top of some of the pages, but nothing extreme. The vinyl and sleeves however were not affected at all it appears. This set features all the recordings and alternate takes of all the sessions recorded by Clifford Brown for Blue Note and Pacific Jazz. These tracks were recorded under the leadership of: Lou Donaldson-Clifford Brown Quintet, J.J. Johnson Quintet, Clifford Brown Sextet, Art Blakey Quintet, and Clifford Brown.
