Description
Up for bid is a rare 7", "I'm Going To Change The World / Roses Are Red (My Love)," by The Commons, LTD. This is a private press white label promo Garage Rock 7", released by mod Records (M-1005) in 1966. Here is some extra info I have found on the internet:
"Produced by Chicago, Illinois' Quill Records Inc. and released on the obscure mod Records."ROSES ARE RED (MY LOVE) is a vibrant cover of the UK Beat Boom side done by the You Know Who Group. The exceptional flip side cover of the Animals' "I'M GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD" includes an excellent fuzz guitar break."
7" is VG++, with a couple of light scuffs on each side. 7" appears very clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Includes original sleeve, which shows some ring wear and wear along the mouth of the sleeve, but no seam splits. Listen to each side from this actual 7", for reference:
