Don’t Be Afraid to Love Me by The Commands is a stone-cold dancefloor classic, beloved for its heartfelt harmonies, crisp production, and unmistakable Texas soul flavour. Originally released on the elusive Dynamic label in 1966, this track has become a prized piece in the Northern Soul scene.

The flip side, Around the Go-Go, is an upbeat, horn-driven instrumental that’s perfect for DJs looking to energise the floor. Both sides pack a punch and showcase the raw talent of this lesser-known but much-loved San Antonio group.
