Description
Columbia M2S 675 Stereo Six Eye Mahler Symphony 3 in D Minor, Leonard Bernstein cond. New York Philharmonic. This record has a barely audible thunk on its first 3 or 4 rotations which I attribute to a pressing flaw since the edge is not warped and the flip-side does not make a sound. Otherwise in excellent/near mint condition.
A note about grading of used records:
MINT: Rare indeed and a category I never use. If a record is not sealed, even if it is "like new" or I know it has only been played once it will be graded in the next category (NM)
NM; If "like new" I will state so. Might have a minimum of barely audible noise. No repeating tics or frequent surface noise.
EX; Generally mostly NM with a bit more evidence of age.
VG+; Obviously used but mostly evident in quiet passages but still mostly quiet or unobtrusive'
I spot-play the records on a high resolution system, concentrating on high excursion, quiet or suspect sections.
