Description

Coltrane Live at Birdland LP, Impulse Stereo, SMAS-90232, VG+/VG+.   Rare original US-issued Impulse (mfg. by Capitol Records) vinyl with a great gatefold cover loaded with information and photos.  Quartet comprised of: John Coltrane - sax, McCoy Tyner - piano, Jimmy Garrison - bass and Elvin Jones - drums.

  • Vinyl is in great VG+ condition.  Has a few light surface scratches and scuffs that shouldn't affect play.  Super gloss.   No spindle tracks or writing on the label.  
  • The cover is in great VG+ condition.  No writing on the cover.  There is a slight touch of light damage to the upper and lower left hand corners - no big deal at all!  The inside of the gatefold is super clean with just a slight hint of ring dirt.  This version of the cover had a light plastic covering that is flaking off in a couple of spots - again no big deal.  No UPC symbol.  See Photos
  • No Reserve!

 This is a serious keeper.  It is an extremely rare record and this one is in top shape.   It will be hard to find a better copy of this original pressing than this one.  A great addition to any collection.
