Description
Here is an original 1969 issue of Colosseum’s Valentyne Suite album on the Vertigo label VO1 847900 VTY.
The album is housed in a gatefold sleeve which includes “A Philips Record Product” printed on the inside centre spread and on side B of the vinyl. The matrix numbers are 1*Y*1 and 2*Y*1. The centre label on side A is given over to the large Vertigo swirl logo – the details appearing on side B. The track details for side B appear as “Themes” on the sleeve but as “Parts” on the vinyl label. All good indications that this is a first pressing.
There are very few surface marks – light at that. The sleeve is in good condition for its age but does have some indentation streaks just below the title. The opening edges have been protected with sellotape.
I no longer have a record deck and am therefore unable to advise on how the record plays.
