MFSL UHQR Supertramp Crime of the Century
Crime of the Century l Ultra High Quality Recording
· MFSL Factory Sealed Copy · Collector’s Quality l This title is definitely without any issues. The most discerning and demanding should not have any reservations. · Protective Wrap l The protective MFSL Wrap is excellent, as should be expected. No Issues! While the protective wrap is in excellent condition; it has no seam splits. · Album Cover l This cover is in excellent condition without any issues discernible by me. The cover is pristine, as expected of a MFSL Factory Sealed Copy. No issues! On close inspection, there is slight white backing at edges due entirely to that quality of the black background ink used by MFSL that shows through. If this might be a concern, please request close ups for your consideration and I will take detailed photographs and forward them. · Printing on the Edge l The printing on the album cover edge is excellent; it is about as good as it gets - excellent alignment. Ultra High Quality RecordingJVC Half-Speed Japanese BOX SET Pressing.
Very Limited Production - 5000 Only
A recording from the Victor Company of Japan for state of the art audiophile pressings. This MFSL LP was pressed in Japan before Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs eventually pressed their LPs in the United States. The LP was Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes. This MFSL LP has a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging.
MFSL UHQR were the most technologically advanced records of its time. Among it's many features is a far advanced frequency and improved channel separation. UHQR albums take longer to press and are heavier than traditional albums. They were always boxed in box sets with special sleeves and packaging.
