Product Description:

Col Hardy-Col Hardy Country (MEGA SCARCE Australian 12 track 12” vinyl LP issued thru Opal Records-OLLP 505) In the 1960’s Col was part of the Opals, a country outfit and sometime house band for Jimmy Little's travelling All-Coloured Revue. Since then he has toured Australia extensively and performed with some of the biggest names in country music. In 1972 he recorded his first EP on Opal Records releasing Col Hardy Country in 1978. Col was the first Aboriginal person to win a Golden Guitar, at the Australasian Country Music Awards in Tamworth. He won the Radio Listener Award. Col was Inducted into the Country Music Hands of Fame in 1979. In 1990 Col was voted New South Wales' Aboriginal Artist of the Year for New South Wales.

Col Hardy-Col Hardy Country LP is housed in picture sleeve in VG+ condition showing some laminate ripple to front and light ring wear to rear – Vinyl LP is in excellent condition.
